VFXRio at the Possible Futures Festival - October 25 and 26, 2024: VFXRio had a special participation in the Possible Futures Festival, which took place at Casa Firjan. The event explored the convergence of artificial intelligence and creativity in the Keynote "What can art teach us about the limits of the machine?", presented on October 25 by computer vision pioneer, Stanford professor David Stork. On October 26, Matteo Moriconi, director of VFXRio, led the masterclass "End of Certainties - IoT, Cloud and AI in the Interpretation of Climate Patterns", highlighting the practical application of these technologies in the analysis of environmental data.

The masterclass "The Generative Weatherman" was a highlight, presenting an integrated system that combines IoT, web processing and AI to create a virtual weather presenter. This avatar, powered by real-time weather sensor data and AI technologies, provides a dynamic and interactive interpretation of weather conditions. The experience not only demonstrated the potential of technological integration, but also made complex information accessible, capturing the public's imagination.
