The activity was coordinated by Matteo Moriconi, director of VFXRio, an ACM Siggraph-affiliated festival dedicated to fostering dialog about transformative emerging technologies with socio-economic relevance. The workshop had the close collaboration of Professor Luiz Velho, from the Visgraf Lab / IMPA (Vision and Computer Graphics Laboratory of the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics), who provided a theoretical introduction to the latest advances in visual and creative technologies based on artificial intelligence, and designer Bernardo Alevato, who addressed generative processes.
