VFXRIO moves to Casa Firjan in Rio de Janeiro and brings to Brazil one of the world's leading innovators in the creation of deep fakes.
International guests include pioneer Hao Li, CEO of Pinscreen; Pav Grochola, supervisor and Lead VFX artist at Sony Pictures Imageworks, part of the effects team for the Oscar®-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse; and Julien Bolbach, Visual Effects Supervisor at MPC, who presents the making of Walt Disney Pictures' The Lion King.

Brazilian TV channel Telecine interviews Pav Grochola, supervisor and Lead VFX artist at Sony Pictures Imageworks, about his work on the Oscar®-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Julien Bolbach about his work on The Lion King. Bolbach worked directly with Jon Favreau and the entire production team on the creation and lighting of 17 main animals, 63 unique species, over 650,000 insects, and billions of blades of grass and vegetation in a virtual space of 150 km².
