Matteo Moriconi has a degree in Chemistry from PUC-Rio. In 1997, he founded the Virtual Museum of Brazilian Art, the first digital project on the Brazilian internet to receive sponsorship from the Ministry of Culture and Petrobras through the Rouanet Law. The project was a pioneer in the use of the web for creative projects. During its development, Matteo worked in partnership with several artists to create virtual works, including Rubens Gerchman, Mauricio Bentes and Arthur Omar. He has also worked on digital projects for Jenny Holzer and Peter Greenaway.

With more than 20 years' experience in project development, including formative years in the technology groups of the Walt Disney Company and Discovery Channel Europe, Matteo has dedicated himself for years to promoting new technologies and spreading knowledge. He is President of the Brazilian Association of Visual Technology and Director of VFXRio. The mission of the Brazilian Visual Technology Association is to promote the industry and companies dedicated to visual effects, virtual reality, augmented reality and computer graphics, for any platform, as producers or developers.

In addition to his vast experience, Matteo is a solution developer and is actively engaged in research in conjunction with the Visgraf Computer Vision Laboratory at IMPA (Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics), exploring multimodal and multicast AI systems, with innovative approaches to integrating multiple forms of media and enhancing the capabilities of artificial intelligence in broadcast technologies and real-time simulations.
