VFXRio Live

It brings to Brazil the leading national and international experts in the production of visual effects for film and television, games, and new technologies. The sixth edition of VFXRio will be held online, live, and free of charge for the first time.

VFXRio is affiliated with ACM Signograph through the Brazilian Association of Visual Technology. In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020, VFXRio brought award-winning professionals from companies such as Industrial Light & Magic, Activision, MPC, Visual Effects Society, Pixomondo, Weta, and DigitalDomain to Brazil, in addition to showcasing the best of Brazilian production through presentations from universities, studios, and production companies such as Rede Globo, Conspiração, O2, IMPA, and Stratostorm. VFXRio has partnerships with ComicCon Experience in São Paulo, Telecine, SuperUber, Globo, Intel/Dell, and Foundry, and brings to Brazil a selection of films chosen by Venice VR, a virtual reality film showcase created by the Festival.

A Brazilian Association of Visual Technology It is a non-profit organization created in 2015 to promote and develop the Visual Technologies Ecosystem, helping companies, governments, and society achieve sustainable social, technological, and economic development.
