Sheldon Stopsack

Creating visual wonders: the art of visual effects in feature films.

Visual effects supervisor Sheldon Stopsack has worked in feature film visual effects for over 10 years. Sheldon joined the global VFX studio The Moving Picture Company (MPC) in 2007 to work on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Since then, he has led teams on blockbuster films including Robin Hood, Total Recall, Skyfall, The Lone Ranger, and X-Men: Days of Future Past. Most recently, Sheldon was part of the team that created the VFX for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, bringing to life the sentient, tree-like creature Groot, and in 2015, he led the MPC team as VFX Supervisor on Terminator: Genisys, recreating a ‘young Arnold’ T-800 digital character, Endoskeletons, in an explosive battle at LAX.
