Creating Visual Wonders: The Art of Visual Effects in the Feature Film

Visual effects supervisor Sheldon Stopsack has worked in feature film visual effects for over 10 years. Sheldon joined the VFX global studio The Moving Picture Company (MPC) in 2007 to work on Harry Potter and The Riddle of the Prince and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Since then, he's led teams in hit films including Robin Hood, Total Recall, Skyfall, The Lone Ranger and X-Men: Days of Future Past. Most recently, Sheldon was part of the team that created the VFX for the Guardian of the Marvel Galaxy, giving life to the sentient creature resembling a Groot tree, and in 2015, he led the MPC team as VFX Supervisor in Terminator: Genisys recreating a 'young Arnold' T-800 digital character, Endoskeletons, an explosive battle at LAX.
