Roberto Poli (PhD Utrecht)
UNESCO Chair in Anticipatory Systems

Professor of Philosophy of Science at the University of Trento (Italy). Poli won the first UNESCO Chair in Anticipatory Systems, is head of the Master's Program in Social Foresight, is President of the “AFI – Associazione dei Futuristi Italiani” (Association of Italian Futurists), and of the startup “skopìa-Anticipation Services”. Poli is a partner of the “STIAS - Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study”; he is Editor-in-Chief of Axiomathes (springer), and editor of the Science of Anticipation series (springer). Poli has published seven books, edited and co-edited more than 20 books or special editions of the journal, and published more than 300 scientific articles. Recent publications: Working with the Future (Bocconi, University Press 2019), The Handbook of Anticipation (Springer, editor, 2019).
