Pam Hogarth

Pam Hogarth helps people and organizations realize their dreams. With MORE than 30 years in the world of visual effects, she has done professional guidance, teaching, placement, marketing, advertising and education. During that time, she served as Marketing Director for LOOK Effects; she spent 12 years helping to turn the Gnomon School of Visual Effects into the premier educational institution for careers in cutting-edge computer graphics for entertainment and advising, teaching, and placing hundreds of aspiring digital artists. Current and past teaching includes Art Directors Guild, cgsociety.org, Gnomon, Digital Media Institute, Otis College of Art and Design, and the American Film Institute. Pam has been extremely active in the Visual Effects Society, including seven terms on the Board of Directors, and has been elected twice as the first Vice Chair and Chair of the Women's Education Committee. Pam holds a master's degree in Vocational Counseling from Kent State University and a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Psychology from Springfield College.

I am currently a Member of the Board of Directors and Secretary of the LA Section. I am proud to be a member since the first year of the VES and the LA Section. For years, I have served as co-chair of the Education Committee and several other committees. I am happy to have done my part to help develop the Society and create opportunities for our members to improve their careers and lives.
