
Pam Hogarth
Pam Hogarth helps people and organizations achieve their dreams. With over 30 years in the world of visual effects, she has worked in career guidance, teaching, placement, marketing, publicity, and education. During that time, she served as Marketing Director of LOOK Effects; spent 12 years helping transform the Gnomon School of Visual Effects into the leading educational institution for careers in cutting-edge computer graphics for entertainment; and counseled, taught, and placed hundreds of aspiring digital artists. Current and past teaching experience includes Art Directors Guild, cgsociety.org, Gnomon, Digital Media Institute, Otis College of Art and Design, and the American Film Institute. Pam has been extremely active in the Visual Effects Society, including seven terms on the Board of Directors, being elected twice as the first female Vice President and Chair of the Education Committee. Pam holds a Master's degree in Vocational Counseling from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Psychology from Springfield College.

I am currently a Board Member and Secretary of the LA Section. I am proud to have been a member of VES and the LA Section since its inception. For years, I served as co-chair of the Education Committee and several other committees. I am happy to have done my part in helping to develop the Society and create opportunities for our members to improve their careers and lives.
