“Fotogrametria no Cinema, nos Games e no VR”

“Nelson Porto is one of the partners at Studio KwO VR, based in Rio de Janeiro. A designer and photographer by training, he has immersed himself in the study of immersive media since 2014, having participated in VR projects such as “Awavena VR”, and carried out more than 30 projects involving 360° videos through Studio KwO in the last 3 years. In 2018, he produced the project “Moroccan Dream VR” for Studio KwO, entirely based on photogrammetry of historical sites in Morocco. He was an instructor at the VR Bootcamp at the Museum of Tomorrow in 2017, and at the Narratives for VR course at Cinema Nosso in 2018.”
The image is of a Madrasa (Islamic school) photographed in Morocco for the "Moroccan Dream" project, which we will be presenting, and where people will be able to enter using VR at the end of the lecture.
