Screening: Siggraph's Traveling Electronic Theater presents the best in Computer Graphics and VFX. Siggraph Los Angeles is the most important event dedicated to computer graphics and VFX in the world. Every year, an internationally recognized jury selects hundreds of presentations to create the annual Computer Animation Festival and Electronic Theater. The traveling show includes the work of today's biggest studios and production companies, showcasing the best in animation, audiovisual science, visual effects, advertising, video games, films, and much more! The electronic theater will be shown for the first time in Brazil during VFX Rio.
Mikki Rose is Co-Chair of the Computer Animation festival at SIGGRAPH 2015 and will be Chair of the Production Sessions at SIGGRAPH 2016. In her professional career, Mikki creates hair, skin, feathers, and vegetation in CG as a skin technical director at Blue Sky Studios. She has recently worked on films such as Peanuts the Movie, Oz, Men in Black 3, Alice in Wonderland, and Hotel Transylvania. Mikki studied computer graphics production, earning a degree in Computer Science and Digital Animation from Middle Tennessee State University and a master's degree in Digital Production Arts from Clemson University. Prior to Blue Sky Studios, she worked on hair and fabric creation for various productions at Rhythm & Hues Studios and Sony Pictures Imageworks.
