

Leo Costa, VFX Supervisor – Framestore
Leo Costa began working in the British film industry in 2009 as a digital compositor at MPC and later The Mill, where he worked on various projects for clients such as MGM, Levi’s, Guinness, Playstation, Mercedes Benz, Pepsi, Adidas, Nike, Audi, and SSE, where he received a VES award for Outstanding Compositing in a Photoreal/Live Action commercial. In 2012, Costa completed a master's degree in film at NFTS, the National Film and Television School. In 2015, Leo began his career at Framestore, where he currently works as a VFX Supervisor for commercials and TV series. Some of his recent work includes Black Mirror, The Terror, and A Christmas Carol.
Foundry will showcase the latest developments in a lecture on December 2nd at 12 PM with guest speaker Leo Costa, visual effects supervisor at Framestore, who will share his tips on how to supervise a visual effects shoot and use Nuke to develop images for the final stage.
