José Almeida Jr

In 2008, he began his professional career in TV Globo as a post-production project engineer with a focus on computer graphics. He started to have contact with the artists of the area and the softwares used and began to develop scripts that accelerated and facilitated both the artistic process and the technical (pipeline development).

In 2015, he received an invitation to work at Weta as Pipeline Developer in the motion R&D (motion Edit and Animation) department, and worked on projects such as The BFG, Valérian and the City of Thousand Planets, War for the Planet of the Apes and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

In 2018, he became Supervisor VFX on TV Globo, being responsible for the pipeline and Technology of the Department of Visual effects.
