Gilles Jobin

Swiss artistic director and choreographer, fascinated by new technologies. He has created more than two dozen shows since 1995, all acclaimed by critics and audiences around the world. In 2017, he created VR_i, an immersive dance show that uses Virtual Reality and won the innovation and audience award at the Festival du Nouveal Cinema in Montreal. The work has been featured in more than 40 performances around the world, including Sundance Festival, Venice Film Festival, Dance Biennale in Lyon and BAM, in NY. In 2019 and 2020, respectively, it launched two augmented reality projects, Magic Window and Dance Trail. In 2020, he created the dance show Real Time, with live motion capture, but the project was interrupted by Covid19.
