Gilles Jobin

Swiss artistic director and choreographer, fascinated by new technologies. He has created more than two dozen shows since 1995, all acclaimed by critics and audiences around the world. In 2017, he created VR_i, an immersive dance performance using Virtual Reality, which won the innovation and audience awards at the Festival du Nouveal Cinema in Montreal. The work was featured in over 40 performances worldwide, including the Sundance Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, Dance Biennale in Lyon, and BAM in New York. In 2019 and 2020, respectively, he launched two augmented reality projects, Magic Window and Dance Trail. In 2020, he created the dance performance Real Time, with live motion capture, but the project was interrupted due to Covid-19.
