Lecture: Star Wars The Force Awakens

Dave Fogler is known for his work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Avatar (2009), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Matrix Reloaded (2003), among others. In 2008 he won the VES Award in the category "Outstanding Models and Miniatures in a Film" for the film Transformers (2007). In 2012, he won the same award in the category "Outstanding Models in a Film" for the film "Transformers: Dark of the Moon". In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he supervised the reconstruction of the classic Millennium Falcon and all the other ships in the film, such as the well-known TIE Fighter (First Order – former Empire) and X-wing (Resistance – former Rebel Alliance).
